As one teen said, "My counselor really listened and didn't preach. We worked on what was important to me." Parents make comments like, "When my child and I are in counseling, the counselor helps us talk to each other in a way we can't seem to at home."
Response Center also develops various support and therapeutic groups when the need arises.

Substance Abuse Prevention and Education workshops are geared toward helping teens understand the impact of substance abuse, peer pressure and other dynamics so they can make constructive, healthy life choices.
Interactive Workshops are presented in schools, community centers and camps and incorporate topics that are important to teens, such as stress management, peer pressure, team building, self esteem and relationships.
Violence Prevention workshops educate teens and community professionals on topics related to teen dating violence and building healthy relationships.
Adolescent Sexuality presentations include experiential education on a variety of topics including: birth control methodology, sexually transmitted infections, anatomy, physiology, etc.
The Clothesline Project is a visual display bearing witness to the violence against women. During the public display, a clothesline is hung with tee-shirts. Each shirt is decorated to represent a particular woman's experience, and is created by the survivor herself or someone who cares about her. The projects purpose, in addition to remembering survivors and the victims of the war against women, is to contribute to the healing process, raise society's awareness of the extent of violence against women and provide a national network of support. Response Center can provide the display and necessary staff support to junior high and high schools, community organizations, synagogues, youth groups, individual classrooms and social service agencies.
The Teams Challenge Course and Adventure Education are outdoor experiential activities that provide teens with the opportunities to enhance self-confidence - while having fun in the process!
Youth Leadership Groups include social and recreational activities that are created at the request of teens. Some teens want to learn to be leaders while some just like to drop into the Center and hang out.
